Library Resources
The Georgetown University Library is working to ensure that faculty and students have access to course materials during the period of remote instruction due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their goal is to make as many course materials as possible available electronically through password-protected Canvas course sites during this unprecedented health crisis. Read More.
They continue to be available to provide research consultations and instruction via Zoom, and will remain on the Library’s chat service as well as on email. Please visit this page for more information.
E-books and E-journals
Lauinger Library at Georgetown University has a large collection of books and journals in electronic format that are accessible to the Georgetown community from on-campus or off-campus through HoyaSearch. For assistance locating Library materials, email reference@georgetown.edu, contact your subject specialist, or use one of our Research Guides. If you encounter a problem with one of our e-resources, contact the Library Electronic Resources Help Desk at eresources@georgetown.edu.
E-Reserves
Lauinger Library offers an electronic reserves service to faculty members who would like to share their course readings electronically. Instructors may also submit article/chapter information and request that the library find these materials; this service, however, may take some time, depending on the availability of the requested materials. For more information, please visit the Library’s web page on placing reserves or email them at reserves@georgetown.edu
