Library e-reserves

Set-up time: 1-2 business days after submitting request
Participants must have: web access

Lauinger Library at Georgetown University offers an electronic reserves service to faculty members who would like to share their course readings digitally. Instructors who submit their readings (a sample of acceptable formats include print, PDFs, and Google Docs) to the library can expect a turn-around of approximately 1 to 2 business days. Instructors may also submit article/chapter information and request that the library find these materials; this service, however, may take some time, depending on the availability of the requested materials.

Because students access e-reserves by authentication through the library website, links to the readings on Blackboard or a course blog will not work. Instead, you might indicate in your syllabus which readings will be available via e-reserves.

For more information, email the library’s reserve services.
